Happy 35th Day of School!

Parents, students, and guests:
This year, we will have a ‘Wall of Honor’ during our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration. We invite everyone to fill out a form (choose a template in the office) and attach a picture (or email (dsmoot@laplata.k12.mo.us) a picture that we can print to attach for you) to proudly display at our celebration! Please submit by Friday, November 1st. They will be available at parent/teacher conferences.
Contact your building principal if you have any questions!

Don’t forget to join us for a celebration to acknowledge our heroes! Veterans are invited to join us for lunch at the HS Ag shop-11:00 am on November 8th, and the community is invited for our annual assembly at 1:30 in the HS Gym.

If you are interested in HS Boys Basketball, HS Girls Basketball, and HS Cheer-please see the coach. Practices start soon and you don't want to miss out!

Early out on October 24th (dismiss HS at 12:33) then parent/teacher conferences (don't forget to grab some tacos from the La Pa Taco Truck), and No School October 25th.

Teachers will host fun activities and students will get rewarded for being GREAT!

Schedule for the day:

8:00 a.m.-8:25 a.m. Check in with First hour, go over PayDay expectations

8:30-10:30 PayDay/Workroom Activities

10:30-11:17 All students in the gym for a friendly competition

11:20 a.m. - 12:33 p.m. Fifth Period, Boo Grams & Lunch

To be eligible for PayDay activities, you must have all of the following (otherwise you will be in a workroom):

All Classroom Grades above Ds/Fs
Attendance 90% and above for the Quarter
No discipline beyond two office referrals for the Quarter
No more than 6 tardies for the Quarter

October 21-November 1st is Red Ribbon Week. Ms. Taylor has planned a week of events. See flyer below.

Wednesday (10/23)-Dreams over Drugs-PJ Day
Thursday (10/24-early dismissal at 12:33)-School Spirit, wear red for Red Ribbon Week and to show school Spirit.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH TO FRIDAY NOVEMBER 1ST

Throughout this week, red ribbons will be hidden around the school. If you are able to find one and bring it to Ms. Taylor*, you will get a treat. *CANNOT be during class time*

Every morning, a question will be asked over the intercom related to Red Ribbon week. Report to Ms. Taylor with the answer* and you get a treat.
