High School Daily Bulletin

HAPPY 138th Day of School!!

Students need to check their flex time manager before each PLT.  There will be no switching in/out of PLT without teacher permission.  Teachers will take attendance at the beginning of each PLT.  If students are not in the right PLT, please send them to the office.  Students that habitually go to the wrong PLT,  will receive PLT detention in the office for 4 days.

Join us for our State Golfer-Cash Sawyer-Send off on Saturday, 5/11/24, @ 4pm-north side of the HS.

Chromebook device and chargers will be turned in on Tuesday, May 14th.  Please have your chromebook/charger ready to be turned in.  Chargers are $25 to replace.  Chromebooks range between $125 and $300 to replace depending on the year of the Chromebook. 

Reminder---School is in session on Monday, May 13th and May 20th!

We are excited to announce that THIS week is Teacher Appreciation Week!

Dress as a teacher on FRIDAY May 10th--the student/teacher duo with the closest match will win some goodies! 

This is a special time for us to show our gratitude and express our thanks to the dedicated educators who work tirelessly to support and inspire our students.  We encourage you to take this opportunity to send notes, emails, or a little treat to your teachers to let them know how much you appreciate all their hard work and commitment to your education. A simple gesture can go a long way in brightening their day and showing them how much they are valued.  Thank you for joining us in recognizing and appreciating our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Nurse Carol sent home letters with the state requirements for incoming 8th graders and 12th graders for the school year of 2024/2025.. The Macon Health Dept will be having an immunization clinic here at our school on May 15th, 2024. If you wish for your student to participate in the vaccine clinic please return the consent form that was mailed to you to the school ASAP.

Complete Family Medicine will offer FREE Sports Physicals to any student interested on Thursday, May 16th from 1-4 in the LHS Gym.  Students need physicals in order to participate in MSHSAA Activities (Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Cheerleading, Scholar bowl, Band, Golf, Cross Cross Country, etc).  If you think your student may be interested in participating next year (Grades 6-12), PLEASE bring a signed form back to be completed by a doctors during physicals.  Call the office if you have any questions!  Click here for the official physical form.  Physicals are valid for 2 years.  Parents do not have to be present but must send the form in with appropriate signatures and information.
