Happy 83rd Day of School! 

Important Announcements:

La Plata FCCLA hosted the Regional Star Event Competition yesterday.  The event was such a success and could not have been possible without the endless hours of coordinating by Mrs. Promnitz, Mrs. Hulett, and the FCCLA team!  We are especially proud of our own, Dayton Hudson, Kendrick Hulett, Haygan Robinson, and Hailey Mitchell for competing and moving on to State Competition!  See pictures below!

ALL JUNIORS WILL MEET IN THE LIBRARY ON Wednesday, 1/29 AT 3PM (DURING PLT) TO DISCUSS GIRLS/BOYS STATE! 

The Pink Out activities between games at home vs Novinger TONIGHT. Go Bulldogs! 

If you are bringing a guest to homecoming, get a form from the office.  Guest forms are due tomorrow. Dance will follow the game at the Elementary Gym. $5 per Person!

SENIORS NEED TO GET THEIR SENIOR SLIDE SHOW PICTURES INTO MR. PIPPIN ASAP!

COACH FIELDS gave Senior Athletes for basketball and cheer a form for Senior Night!  Please fill out and return to him ASAP!

MFAA 2025

This is a friendly reminder that applications are being accepted for the 2025 Class of the Missouri Fine Arts Academy.

Tuition is free for MFAA 2025 thanks to the support of the State of Missouri and private donations.

All interested high school students that are currently freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors should apply online in one of the following areas.

• Dance
• Vocal Music
• Instrumental Music
• Theatre
• Creative Writing
• Visual Arts/Mixed Media

The Missouri Fine Arts Academy is a two-week residential interdisciplinary arts academy that runs June 1-14, 2025 on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield, Missouri.

We hope you'll encourage students to be a part of MFAA. Feel free to download, print and post our "Journey" flyer to promote MFAA 2025 in your school hallways.

ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES

Changes in schedule for HS Basketball and Cheer:

🏀 HS Basketball Game at Linn scheduled for 1/10/25 was cancelled due road conditions. Rescheduled date: Feb 12th

Added 2 boys JV quarters to the game against Novinger on 1/28 at home.  This is also Pink Out.

Senior Night for HS Basketball and Cheer is 2/18/25 vs Mendon.
